We have one daughter who took advantage of every educational opportunity that was given her and finished college in 3 years on a full ride scholarship. Therefore, she is one of the rare ones with absolutely NO debt. She is about to start an internship at Emory Hospital and has met every goal that she has planned out for herself. She is a thriving independent adult. We have a disabled son, who is about to be trained vocationally in Building Maintenance and is very excited about it. And, now our youngest is finishing up his Freshman year at AHS. I think every day about what are going to be his options upon graduation. We have never paid private school tuition and have never paid college tuition. College can be such a frivolous waste of money if there are no clear plans for what is going to happen after the day of college graduation. There are too many college graduates that are either unemployed or under-employed. I am an extremely practical person. I cannot personally imagine paying for a college degree that is not even going to be worth the paper that the degree is written on!Cindy Fishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18431209423760694963noreply@blogger.com
